  1. We welcome you back from the pilgrimage to Namugongo Martyrs’ Shrine and thank you for the prayers and offertory gifts you brought.
  1. Couples wedding in the month of December 2019 and January 2020 will have their second session of instructions tomorrow, Monday 28st October 2019 at 5:00pm here at the Parish.
  1. Today 27th October 2019 is the Kampala Archdiocesan Day. Holy Mass starts at 10:00am at Rubaga Cathedral led by the Archbishop. Our parish representatives have set off at 8.00am.
  1. The Catholic Charismatic Renewal Mbuya invites all to a healing service today at 2.30 p.m. The theme will be: “When Jesus saw their faith He said to the paralytic: your sins are forgiven” (Mk 2, 5).
  2. The next infant baptisms will be on Sunday 10th November 2019. Instructions for parents and godparents will be on 2nd November and 9th November 2019 starting at 3.30p.m.
  1. The tickets for the Reach Out Mbuya Charity Run 2019 are available outside the church and in the parish office. Please let us support our own initiative especially to help the affected children. You can also make your donation through the bank. Please find the details on the parish notice board.
  1. The New Bishop of Lira Diocese Rt. Rev. Santos Lino Wanok will make a Pastoral visit to Kampala on Sunday 10th November 2019 and will celebrate Holy Mass at Our Lady of Consolata, Bweyogerere Parish starting at 11:00am. Planning meetings will be held today 27th October and 3rd November 2019 at Bweyogerere Parish at 3:00pm. All Christians from Gulu Ecclesiastical Province are encouraged to actively participate.
  1. All Catholics from Mbarara Ecclesiastical Province will have their 2019 Annual Mbarara Ecclesiastical Province Association Pilgrimage to Namugongo on 10th November 2019. Hoima Diocese will lead this year’s Pilgrimage. Mass will start at 10:00 a.m. led by Bishop Vincent Kirabo Amooti.

All Catholics from Eastern Uganda (Jinja, Tororo, Soroti, Moroto and Kotido Dioceses) under the umbrella body Tororo Ecclesiastical Province Association of the Laity (TEPAL) will be holding their annual end of year get-together Mass at Ntinda Catholic Church on 3rd November 2019 at 11.30 a.m. The last Preparatory meeting will take place at Christ the King Parish on Thursday 31st October 2019 at 5.00p.m. All are invited to attend the last meeting.
  1. Fr. Vincent Tumwebaze and the Youth Friends of Jesus invite you all to the Mother Mary’s Mega Concert to crown the month of the Holy Rosary. The concert will take place on 1st November 2019 at the Catholic Chapel Gardens MUBS – Nakawa starting at 5.00pm.

The Parish Priest of St. Balikuddembe Mengo Kisenyi Catholic Parish reminds all people of God especially the Friends of the Uganda Martyrs that the Novena of the first Martyr Joseph Mukasa Balikuddembe will start on 6th November 2019 up to 14th November 2019 and 15th November his martyrdom will be celebrated. During the Novena, Mass will be starting at 3.00pm preceded by the rosary and penitential services.
  1. Padre Pio Tours and Travel Ltd has organized a tour through Tanzania, Zanzibar and Kenya at a fee of 2 million Ugx to cater for meals, transport and accommodation. Find the details on the parish notice board.
  1. The Marriage Apostolate has organized a marriage seminar and reunion of all couples which will take place on Sunday 10th November 2019 starting with Mass at 9.00a.m. and thereafter at the Our Lady of Africa Kindergarten Mbuya. Invited are all married couples (both wedded and not-yet-wedded).
  1. We are in the month of the Rosary; we are encouraged to recite the Rosary in our families and small Christian communities. Here at the parish we shall conclude with mass on 31st October 2019 at 7.00 a.m.
  1. On Friday 1st November 2019 (Solemnity of All Saints), we shall have two masses: 7.00 a.m and 6.30p.m.
  1. On Saturday 2nd November 2019 (All Souls Day) we shall have two Masses: at 7.00 a.m. and 6.00p.m.
  1. November is a month in which we pray in a special way for our deceased relatives and friends. Get a card where you register the names of your departed relatives and friends from the sacristy and parish office and give your offering for the masses.
  1. Tithe envelopes are available in the sacristy and in the parish office.
  1. Today being the last Sunday of the month we have a second collection to support our Archbishop in his pastoral work (SAAFU). Last month’s collection amounted to 1,409,200-ugx. Thank you for your generosity.
